HTC Flyer 16GB on Sale for $99 [Update]

It looks like the Flyer is going the way of the HP TouchPad with a heavily discounted price, this time at Best Buy. It’s possible that Best Buy is trying to clear inventory in anticipation of a new HTC 7″ tablet, or perhaps the retailer is dissatisfied with sales and want to draw down inventory to clear shelves for other other (better-selling) products. Either way, you’ll have to go to you local Best Buy store for the Flyer, because they are sold out online. Be sure to check availability before you jump in the car. As a reminder, the Flyer is running with a single-core Qualcomm 1.5GHz CPU running on top of Android 2.3. It also features Scribe, which allows you to make notes on the screen if you buy the special stylus accessory.

Update: As AndroidCentral points out, it looks like the lower price was in error. Shucks.
