Verizon LTE has been set to receive a new Android smartphone lately, the Samsung Stratosphere. We got a look at some specs for the phone last month, and were hoping that it would debut on the carrier sometime in early October. Today some launch documents for the Stratosphere were leaked, suggesting the LTE handset will become available on October 13.

Though we’re still unable to confirm the manufacturer of the phone’s 1GHz processor, all the specs here check out with those we had already heard. That means a four-inch Super AMOLED WVGA display, five-row QWERTY keyboard, five-megapixel main camera, and 1.3-megapixel front-facer. The Stratosphere has 4GB of internal flash, augmented by a 4GB microSD card. As a slider, it’s no surprise to see the Stratosphere a little on the chubby side, measuring 0.55 inches thick.

Despite the leaked launch date, pricing info is still unavailable. Based on its specs, the mid-$100s range sounds plausible, but you never know how Verizon is going to act when pricing LTE models, which can still demand a premium. Still, the Stratosphere likely won’t tolerate prices much north of $200, so this one should still be plenty affordable.

While you wait for the Stratosphere to arrive, feel free to check out its manual, which leaked along with this latest release info.
