HTC Titan Unboxing (Video)

The next generation of Windows Phone is upon us, which includes the release of Mango, plus a wave of new hardware. Among the first batch of devices is the HTC Radar and Titan, the latter of which is the most powerful Windows Phone device yet, packing a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU (dual-core Windows Phones will arrive at some point, but not yet), with 512MB of RAM, 16GB of ROM, and a massive 4.7″ WVGA Super LCD display. There is a 1.3MP on the front allows you to use video chat, and the camera on the rear takes photos at 8MP with its F2.2 lens, which should offer great low-light performance. The Titan manages to stay slender at a nice 9.9mm, despite having such a large screen.

If you want a Titan for yourself, you can import it from the UK retailers such as Clove for around $650. It has the 850 UMTS band, allowing it to get HSDPA over AT&T. Or, you can wait for a few weeks, since AT&T has announced that the Titan will indeed part of their Fall Windows Phone lineup.
