Apple iPhone Micro USB Adapter Available in Europe

When the European Union decided that microUSB should be the standard when it comes to phone charging, they set out a date up to which manufacturers have to comply: beginning of 2012. Apple adhered and has now made an adaptor available.

If you go to the Apple U.K. website you will be able to find the above adaptor/connector. It’s the standard Apple 30-pin connector that will take a microUSB plug on one end. This way, without modifying the design, Apple is following the requirements set forth by the E.U.; goes for £8.00 (around $12) should you ever need one.
