MetroPCS Makes LG Esteem 4G LTE Official

The LG Esteem 4G LTE for MetroPCS was leaked last week and today the carrier officially announced the phone. It will be available starting this week both in stores and online for $249 plus tax, after mail-in rebate, through January 1, 2012. MetroPCS also throws in a Rhapsody Unlimited Music FREE for 90 days through a limited time promotional offer when they activate the $50 4G LTE service plan.

The LG Esteem 4G LTE runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and packs a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 4.3-inch WVGA screen, 8GB of internal memory, five-megapixel main camera with flash and 720p HD video recording, front-facing webcam, Dolby Mobile Surround 7.1, micro-HDMI port plus the usual sensors and radios for 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS.
