In this episode of the Windows Phone 7 App Roundup we demonstrate five applications in 30 seconds each. These apps will keep you entertained, convert virtually any unit to any other unit, and play your music from your SkyDrive. To download these apps directly to your WP7 device, just click on the title of the application and the Zune software will automatically launch to the app in Marketplace. If you have the free Microsoft Tag app installed on your WP7 smartphone just snap a picture of the Tag image and the mobile Marketplace will navigate to that app.

Garmin StreetPilot – Trial and $34.99 full version


With Garmin StreetPilot you will never get lost again. This app creates a Windows Phone 7 style layout for Garmin. Search for practically any point of interest using the integrated Google search. Select favorites and navigate to your contact’s addresses. Streets and directions are spoken as words.


WeatherLive – Trial and $1.49 full version


WeatherLive is a great weather forecasting app that will display the current temperature as a Live Tile. View your current forecast and get detailed information broken down by days and hours. Check the various maps to see how the weather will change along with the weather trends.


Convert Unit – A free application


Convert nearly any unit to any other unit using Convert Units. This simple app displays an elegant interface that makes it quick and easy to solve that next conversion issue. Mass, length, force, and much more can be converted in no time at all.


Gravity Guy – Trial and $2.99 full version


Gravity Guy is a fun Xbox Live game. The object of the game is to transition your Gravity Guy from running on the ground to running on the ceiling. Try to avoid enemies that are chasing after you while switching from up to down. Be cautious to not fall off the screen or you will have to start back at the last checkpoint.


SkyDrive Player – A free application


Microsoft has a great online storage service that is free called SkyDrive. With SkyDrive Player you will be able to access your audio files to play them directly onto your Windows Phone 7 smartphone. Just navigate to the folder that you have uploaded your music to from your device and download which songs you would like to play.
