Sprint Direct Connect Compatible Motorola Admiral Pictured
The Motorola Admiral codename first popped up when we first heard that the Sprint-bound Samsung Galaxy S II will indeed be called Epic 4G Touch. It’s the device pictured above and it looks to be a phone compatible with Sprint’s Direct Connect.
When we heard of Sprint’s Direct Connect, we told you the offering will be launched with rugged phones from Motorola and Kyocera. Well, the Admiral above seems to be the one, with its portrait QWERTY keyboard. It’s running Android 2.3 Gingerbread and packs a 1.2GHz single-core processor, 3.1-inch VGA display, and five-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording capability. To power all there will be a massive 1,860mAh battery and, of course, the phone is a rugged one complying with the 810G military specifications.
