Gchat Google Talk Client for Windows Phone

You might not be on Android like some of your friends but that shouldn’t stop you from being in touch with them just because they are not on the Metro platform. Gchat is now available in the Marketplace and is a Google Talk client for Windows Phones.

The application not only follows the Metro style but it delivers push notifications for messages and also allows you to pin any of your contacts as a secondary tile, with independent unread message count. Of course there’s also an “off-the-record conversation feature with special and delicate handling”. The application is free and if you’re running Windows Phone Mango — either one of the Betas or RTM — give it a try by following the Marketplace link below.
