Alleged iPhone 4S Case Suggests Antenna, Home Button Changes

There are more and more rumors about Apple not releasing one, but two phones in its upcoming September/October event: one cheaper, lower spec’ed iPhone 4 refresh, the iPhone 4S and one high-end, last-gen flagship, the iPhone 5.

The image above is allegedly representing the iPhone 4S case and, as you can see, it is basically the case for the iPhone 4. There’s a SIM card slot, mute and volume buttons are placed in the same spot as with the iPhone 4 but the iPhone 4S will reportedly have two antenna breaks at the bottom of the casing. This could indicate possible support for different frequencies though there has been no confirmation as of yet.

The picture you see below is the purported bottom part of the iPhone 4S and, opposed to the iPhone 4’s similar part which features a home button, the one below doesn’t. There were rumors of a buttonless iPhone and even hear-say about a capacitive button but there’s nothing certain at the moment.
