AT&T Samsung Infuse 4G Getting Android Gingerbread This Month

The AT&T Infuse 4G is a great phone but unfortunately comes with Android 2.2 Froyo out of the box, unlike its Canadian cousin which ships with Gingerbread (and the source code for that has already been published, by the way).

According to AT&T on Twitter, the Samsung Infuse 4G will get its Gingerbread treat this month. The phone has already been included in the “to do” post for Gingerbread updates by the carrier and it looks like AT&T has a tad more than two weeks to deliver or people will start going for the Galaxy S II variants everyone is expecting.
