Windows Phone Mango RTM’d For Real This Time

A few days ago we had heard that Windows Phone Mango had been released to manufacturing so that OEM’s could start producing final versions of their new phones. That turned out to be inaccurate, however today we do have real confirmation that Windows Phone’s Mango update has been released to manufacturing as you can see by Terry Myerson’s blog post on the Windows Phone Blog. That means now we have to wait for mobile operators and device manufacturers to finish optimizing their code and customizations before they can release new devices as well as upgrades for existing devices. It won’t be much longer now!

In the meantime, check out our preview in order to get a good taste of a few of the features that will be coming soon to Windows Phone.
