Samsung Reportedly Selling More Than Six Million Galaxy S II

It wasn’t even a month ago that we reported on the Samsung Galaxy S II selling more than three million units in 55 days from its launch and according to reports the Korean smartphone manufacturer is checking another record on its list.

There were reportedly more than six million Samsung Galaxy S II phones sold worldwide since its launch, blasting away previous records set by the Galaxy S. Samsung managed to achieve this without even having a single Galaxy S II or variant in the U.S., one of its main markets — phones will allegedly arrive in August. In such a context, Samsung might be well ahead Apple both in terms of sales as well as in terms of establishing a nice user base before the next iPhone, its main competitor, comes out.
