If you’re not familiar with the MIUI term or don’t know what MIUI ROMs or Ports are, we’ll tell you that it’s a ROM that offers a different user experience. It started out as a Chinese customized version of Android, a Frankenstein build if you will, borrowing stuff from several manufacturer customizations.

If you want to try a MIUI Port on your Motorola Droid X or Droid 2, you can now do that, thanks to the recent 2nd-Init custom ROM hack discovered. Both ROMs are built from CyanogenMod 7 nightlies but make sure to check out the source links for more information, instructions on installing as well as feedback.
