Dolphin Browser HD 6.0 With Webzine Released

Dolphin Browser HD 5.0 finished up its run as beta and hit the Android Market right at the beginning of June, sporting a new UI and doing away with its advertisements while remaining free. The past months have seen development continue furiously on the app, culminating in the release of Dolphin Browser HD 6.0.

DBHD 6.0 now integrates a feature called Webzine, which aims to present sites to you in a way that lets you navigate through them as if they were online magazines. That means breaking a site down into thumbnails for each page, and intuitive gestures for navigating between them.

Webzine may be the keystone of this release, but DBHD also gets a bunch of bugfixes, a couple of which will only affect tablet users, but everyone should benefit from the increased stability. Not that it will have any impact on performance, but the app also gets a new icon, so be on the lookout for it after upgrading in case you’re wondering what happened to your browser.

Dolphin Browser HD 6.0 is available in the Android Market now.
