The good folks over at the Nokia Beta Labs are always cooking up something new and exciting and this time it’s Live View, and augmented reality browser, a little bit in the vein of LG’s ScanSearch available in the Marketplace for LG Windows Phone users.

Upon launching the application, the smartphone will display real-time location information and points of interest based on the surrounding, overlaying the bits to the camera application. It is definitely a great way to discover places, points of interest using both location data as well as the real-time images of the surroundings. Check out a short demo of the app on an N8 below and fingers crossed it will be part of Nokia’s standard offering on future devices, let them be Windows Phone or other.
