Verizon Makes the Motorola Droid 3 and Pricing Official [Update]

Verizon should make the Motorola Droid 3 public and available today, at least according to the things we’ve recently heard and the carrier seems to be well prepared to do just so. The phone is featured on Verizon’s website with details as well as pricing.

The Motorola Droid 3 officially appears on Verizon’s website under the New Products category but clicking brings you to a dedicated page that’s not currently live (yet). If you go to Droid Does on the other hand, you will see all the details you’re interested in plus a bonus: pricing. As we’ve heard yesterday, the Motorola Droid 3 will cost $199.99 and this time it’s as official as it gets. We just need the announcement.

The specs are already known: 1GHz TI-OMAP dual-core processor, eight-megapixel camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording capability, front facing camera, 16GB of internal storage, world phone capability as well as Android 2.3 Gingerbread on-board.

Update: If you go to this link you will be landing on Verizon’s own Motorola Droid 3 page. You can have a good look at the phone itself, its main features and check out the price which off-contract is $459.99. We’re still waiting for official announcement though.
