Motorola Droid 3 Pricing Revealed
As near as we can tell, Verizon is set to start selling the Motorola Droid 3 tomorrow, though you wouldn’t know it from asking the carrier; despite all the leaked screenshot of internal computers referencing the Droid 3, the leaked training documents, and dummy units showing up in Verizon stores, there still hasn’t been any official announcement for the smartphone. We’re hoping that’s all going to change tomorrow, as July 7 is rumored to be the day that Verizon will finally begin sales, offering the Droid 3 through direct fulfillment before it arrives in stores the following week. Just in time, we’ve heard the first rumor of what you might end up having to shell out for the Android.
The rumored Droid 3 prices are pretty run-of-the-mill: you should be able to get the handset for about $200 on your standard two-year service contract, and those of you who don’t like to feel tied-down can snag the Droid 3 free-and-clear for about $460.
Now that we pretty much everything there is to regrading the Droid 3, does it sound like something you’ll be picking up? The five-row keyboard should give it a bit of an advantage over some other QWERTY sliders, but were you hoping to get a smartphone that supports LTE?
