iPhone 5 Part Makers Allegedly Preparing Materials for Production

It’s a tad difficult to see clearly in the sea of iPhone 5 rumors and maybe this alone has a huge contribution to Apple’s iPhone success. Here comes another one according to which part makers are allegedly preparing materials for starting the iPhone 5 (mock-up image above) production.

Digitimes reports that Taiwanese companies from the iPhone 5 supply chain are prepping their gears and materials for the production. This, contrary to what’s been rumored so far, will take place sometime in September with the actual smartphone hitting the markets later in October.

Manufacturers like Foxconn Electronics (assembly), Simplo Technologies and Dynapack International Technology (batteries), TPK Holding and Wintek (touch panels) and Catcher (chassis) are said to benefit from the orders. While there will purportedly only be a single new iPhone model, volumes are estimated at around 6-7 million units for Q3.

August seems to be way off as time (and rumors) go by so it’s just fair to expect an iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 around September or October. Regardless, the anticipation is rather high!
