AT&T, Verizon Store Surveys Show The iPhone 4 As The Top-Seller

Sometimes the math just doesn’t seem to be enough when it comes to the way our Smartphone market behaves. You’d think that with so many Android phones to choose from at any of our beloved carriers in the US, Android should be the best selling platform, but that doens’t seem to be the case.

AllThingdD reports on a recent survey ran by BTIG Research where customers clearly show their preference for the iPhone 4, and Android in second place. The survey ran for three weeks on 250 Verizon and AT&T stores nation wide. What’s even more interesting is to see that they barely have any interest in Windows Phone 7 and the slowly sinking BlackBerry platform. Obviously this is an informal survey, and sales figures do show Android as the current king of the Smartphone market in the US, but with store front results like these, you’d wonder if that will last.
