Apple Starts Selling Unlocked iPhone 4

Yesterday we heard an interesting bit of information about Apple allegedly preparing to sell unlocked iPhone 4 smartphones on Wednesday in all variants (16GB, 32GB, black and white) and it appears that Cupertino has indeed done so.

Over at the Apple Store online you can grab an unlocked GSM Apple iPhone 4 without any carrier tie-in. White and black 16GB variant goes for $649.00 while the 32GB version sells for $749.00 with free one-to-three-day shipping. Will only work on AT&T’s 3G network but if you’re a heavy traveller and prefer switching SIM cards instead of paying roaming taxes this might be your opportunity — you might also be interested in this if you want to give it as a gift or just don’t fancy a two-year contract for the phone.
