For all those times you were wondering how long will it take for your bus to actually arrive, Google is now launching live transit updates in Google Maps, available also in the Google Maps Mobile application.

The new feature has the ability to inform you of the actual arrival time of your bus ride as Google has partnered with transit agencies to bring live transit info for cities like Boston, Portland, Ore., San Diego, San Francisco, Madrid and Turin. You’ll see a new “live departure times” in Google Maps when you access a transit station or plan a transit route and there’s an event. The feature is available in the latest version of Google Maps for Android as well as well as on the Google Maps page accessed by mobile browsers.
