Apple has announced the future of iOS yesterday wearing the iOS 5 name and it brings many new features — over 200 — to users of iOS devices. If you are a developer you can now download the iOS 5 SDK beta directly from Apple.

iOS 5 is also available for download for both GSM and CDMA variants of the iPhone 4 as well as the iPhone 3GS. In order to install it you will need the new beta of iTunes — but be warned as you will reportedly not be able to downgrade from iOS 5 to an earlier version. Apple allegedly sent out warnings that the only way from iOS 5 Beta is up, meaning a fresher beta and eventually the final version.
