Plants vs Zombies For Android Has Been Released, Free On Amazon

It didn’t take two months for Plants vs Zombies to make its way to Android as we’ve been told at the beginning of May. The uber-popular Popcap game is now available for all of you rocking and Android smartphone that were counting the days to its release, as we’ve told you that it will launch today.

Normally going for $2.99, it’s currently available for free on Amazon Appstore. Since it’s an Amazon exclusive for a while — after which Popcap will make it available in the Android Market too — it is currently available only in the U.S. as there is an Amazon Appstore region restriction that only allows American Android users to access the service — we’ll not mention that as with any rule, there are certain ways to break it.
