Windows Phone 7 Mango Features Screenshot Collection (Video)
When Microsoft recently announced the Windows Phone 7 update codenamed Mango, it only showed off a couple — though the most important — features that the early autumn platform refresh will bring to current and future Windows Phones.
Though we can expect more than 500 features in Mango according to Steven Ballmer, many of these are minor facelifts (but nevertheless important in delivering and overall great user experience). In the video below you can see a couple of screenshots taken from the Windows Phone Mango emulator so you’ll know better what to expect once you’ll get that certain update notification sometime in mid-October — as Microsoft Netherlands implied.
The screenshots featured in the video below demonstrate Audio (integrated playing of audio from websites), Bing, Contacts (new Contact and history screen), Emoticons, IE9 Settings (and changes to the Favorites and History, landscape mode, new address bar location, new settings), Marketplace search, Messaging, Music (Bing integration with Marketplace, podcasts), a new Paste icon, and People Hub Settings (with the Check-in option).
You can also see Scout, Search settings, group Messaging, Video streaming from IE9 with stretch video button, Zune (with extra info including bio and related artists, Smart DJ, rethought buttons) and much more.
