You’ve been waiting (too long) for the HTC-made Verizon Trophy to be announced as the first Windows Phone on the carrier — the second CDMA-enabled Windows Phone after the Sprint HTC Arrive — but the smartphone was at last announced on May 19 and it will be available starting May 26 online and June 2 in stores for $149.99 after rebate and service agreement.

All you can do until then is wait, and take a look at the official Verizon Trophy page which went live on the carrier’s web site. The May 26 date is featured again and you need to only sleep five times until you can order your own which features, as the rest of the Windows Phone crop a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. The Trophy has a 3.8-inch WVGA display and features a five-megapixel rear camera with 16GB of internal flash storage.
