Apple’s Philip Schiller Says White iPhone 4 Is Not Thicker

Right after the White iPhone 4 has been released, reports were flooding in regarding the thickness of the pale smartphone and how it was somewhat — negligibly, but still — thicker than the classic, black variant.

Asked on Twitter about the thickness rumors, Philip Schiller, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing, has responded in a very “Apple specific” way, via direct message, as follows: “it is not thicker, don’t believe all the junk that you read”. We’re pretty sure that all that “junk” was accompanied by relevant pictures showing a clearly visible thickness difference but if Apple tells you that you have bad eyes… Again, the difference is negligible but we wish Apple just admitted instead of sending us all to have our eyes checked out by an ophthalmologist.
