Verizon Employees Get Windows Phone 7 Training, Launch Close?

Verizon Windows Phone news is getting old still there’s no actual smartphone out so you really need to be strong and wait some more if you want a CDMA HTC 7 Trophy on Big Red. Yesterday we heard the carrier is creating Windows Phone forums and today word is that Verizon people are getting Windows Phone 7 training.

Information is unconfirmed so file it under the rumor category! A Twitter user tweeted that his roommate is working for Verizon and that he is participating at an alleged Windows Phone training. If this turns out to be true then there will be an announcement soon but yet again, don’t hold your breath as we’ve been bringing you postponing news month after month since December. And still, it’s almost May, seven months into Windows Phone 7…

WPCentral also reports of a possible May 12 launch date, as tipped by an anonymous reader. Not sure what to expect, there’s nothing else backing up the info but one more rumor in the sea of Verizon Windows Phone 7 rumors couldn’t hurt. Might even turn out to be true.
