CyanogenMod Version 7.0.2 Released, Fixes Bugs [Update]
Two weeks ago the final release of CyanogenMod version 7 was made available after lots of Release Candidates — we even had a video review walking you through the build — but unfortunately some bugs came with the package too. Today, CyanogenMod 7.0.1 was released to address issues and we salute the celerity in releasing a version to iron out bugs.
Fixes are various depending on devices used and different scenarios but they include GPS, backlighting, keyboard lighting, 720p video playback and more. For a complete list of changes consult the official changelog. Additionally, there’s also “support for a few devices that weren’t quite ready in time for 7.0 (original Droid)” so if you want to update, you know the drill. Follow the source link!
Update: Turns out that the 7.0.1 version was pulled because of last minute bugs and instead version 7.0.2 was released, correcting the issues. Kudos to JnKay for noticing and letting us know.
