Motorola Droid X2 Back On Video With New Benchmarks

Fresh off the last Motorola Droid X2 video we checked out, showing off the phone’s boot screen with that lovely dual-core confirmation, we’ve come across a bunch of new pics and video of the Android smartphone, showing off some more of the hardware design, and checking out the device’s performance with a Quadrant benchmark.

In addition to the new media, there are some revised specs for the phone available. We’ve been expecting the Droid X2 to have a dual-core Tegra 2 running at 1GHz, but this new rumored figure has it at 1.2GHz. While that would be good news if true, the same source puts the phone’s RAM at 768MB, down from the 1GB we were expecting. Like we’ve seen so far, this X2 is running Froyo, but we assume that Gingerbread will make it to the phone sooner rather than later.

Quadrant scores are pretty darn impressive, with the Motorola clocking in with a 2453. Despite the performance, the smartphone supposedly has really great battery life, though we haven’t seen any specifics on that claim. If the information coming from this source is accurate, the phone could arrive by the middle of May.
