ROM Manager for Android Gets a Facelift

If you’ve ever flashed a custom ROM on your Android-powered smartphone you know that it can be a somewhat daunting task. You’ve got to find the ROM, make sure it’s built for your phone, download it, check the MD5 hash, reboot into recovery, find the ROM file, flash it, flash GAPPS, and reboot. It’s not a big deal if you do it once in a while, but if you’re flashing nightly builds it can become a headache really fast.

That’s where ROM Mananger come in to play. It’s an app for rooted phones that lets you do all kinds of low-level stuff to your phone, without having to go through all the low-level actions yourself.

Today the developer released an update that replaced the stock icons with new, high-resolution icons, essentially making the app even that much more user-friendly. From what we can tell, this update is only a small part of an app-wide reface. So far so good!
