The BlackBerry community is having a surprisingly busy Friday, with plenty of info on new hardware, and now a software update has arrived for the platform’s resident Angry Birds clone, Angry Farm, adding in a slew of new levels.

With no Angry Birds title in sight for BlackBerry smartphones, Smarter Apps decided to do its best impression, creating all-new levels and graphics while maintaining the basic Angry Birds physics and gameplay.

Angry Farm version 1.1.11 adds 30 additional levels to the title, nearly doubling the amount of game content. We had expressed concern in the past that, at $5, this is a very expensive knock-off, but this update may make the bill a little more palatable. Existing customers will get the new levels for free.

Just as before, we highly suggest you check out the free demo to make sure the game plays nicely with your BlackBerry hardware. There’s a bug with CDMA-based BlackBerrys that forces audio to be disabled in-game; if that sounds like a big problem to you, hold off until Smarter Apps comes up with a work-around.
