iPhone 5 to Land in June According to Rumors from Korea?

There were many rumors and speculations regarding Apple’s next iPhone — the iPhone 5 or whatever it will be called — and according to the one last week, the iPhone 5 might not appear at the upcoming WWDC (some even reference it for next year).

From Korea comes the latest rumor and according to the hear-say, the highly anticipated Apple smartphone will be landing in June after all. As other rumors implied, the iPhone 5 will still miss WWDC but there will allegedly be another event shortly after where the smartphone would be introduced. Korean carriers KT and SK Telecom will purportedly have the smartphone in their line-up.

The iPhone 4 was just recently launched in Korea and an iPhone 5 coming a couple of months after is not like Apple. Also, Cupertino’s history does not include any major events (if at all) shortly after WWDC and Korea, as a market, is definitely not one on which the device would appear immediately after the launch.

On the other hand, Apple must feel the pressure from Google’s Android and the devices running the platform so getting the next-gen iPhone on the market would be a move to consider, though Apple is not known for sacrificing quality for a rushed device launch. Treat this as capital “R” and feel free to chime in with your thoughts below!
