iOS 4.3.1 Untethered Jailbreak Released

Just a week ago we saw the possibility for a tethered jailbreak on iOS 4.3.1 using Snowbreeze version 2.4b and recently we’ve been told that iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak looks “Solid”.

Now, the Dev-Team has released “both PwnageTool and redsn0w to bring an untethered jailbreak for Apple’s latest firmware, FW 4.3.1”. What this means is that you will no longer have to jailbreak your device again after a reboot as untethered jailbreak is persistent and can survive a device restart. It is compatible with iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 (GSM). Read more at the source link and also the warning for ultrasn0w users not to update yet!
