Sprint Website Confirms HTC EVO 3D, EVO View 4G
Pretty much the same way Sprint’s website confirmed the Google Nexus S 4G before its announcement, we’ve got a confirmation of the EVO 3D, this time with a picture to go with the description for the first time.
We already know the specs of the EVO 3D straight from the horse’s mouth at CTIA and they’re the same as the ones reported in the benchmark database system for the device codenamed Shooter. Sprint has a pre-registration page up where you can opt-in to receive news about the upcoming, yet unannounced smartphone.
The EVO 3D will sport a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, a large 4.3-inch qHD 960×540 glasses-free 3D display, 1.3-megapixel front facing webcam, five-megapixel main camera with 1080p 2D video and 720p 3D video recording capability. Taking a look at the picture above you can see the resemblance between the EVO 3D and its predecessor, the EVO 4G. Also, there looks to be a dedicated camera button on the right side which, if turns out to be true, is always a great addition.
Same way as yesterday, we expect Sprint to officially launch the device sometime today — hopefully in a couple of hours — even if the sign-up-for-info page will this time not be yanked.
Additionally, there’s also a similar page for the HTC EVO View 4G, the Taiwanese Flyer tablet with its 1024×600 display, a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera, a rear 5-megapixel camera, and a 1.5GHz CPU to power everything.
