A Quick Look at IE9 for Windows Phone 7

In the Mango update for Windows Phone 7, due sometime later this year, Microsoft will be rolling out a new version of the web browser in addition to some other major changes like the inclusion of fast app switching, and Twitter integration in the People hub.

In this video, recorded at the Windows Phone stand at SXSW, we get to see a preview of some of the new features and design changes to IE9 for Windows Phone. As you can see, the address bar has been relocated to the bottom, which is a deviation from every other smartphone browser. We also get to see a bit of the HTML5 support, which looks to provide great rendering performance.
