In this episode of the Android Application Weekly we demonstrate some apps that will keep you entertained, let you watch your favorite TV shows from your device, and turn your friends into zombies. To download these directly to your Android device just take a picture of the QR-Code using Google Goggles or any other QR-Code scanner to be taken directly to the Android Market.

Locus is the do-it-all navigation program that allows you to save the maps directly to your SD Card so you may view them outside of the coverage area. Locus also has the ability to track your location which may be shared with others. Have trouble remembering where you parked your car? Just use the car locate feature and locus will guide you back to where you parked. There are many map styles to choose from.

TV Show Stream is a great app for anyone that wants to watch archived TV shows directly from your Android device. There are many shows available and each show has a multitude of seasons and episodes. The paid version has more content available.

Zombie Booth – A free application

Zombie Booth is a funny app that allows you to turn your friends into flesh eating zombies. Just snap a picture or select from the gallery and Zombie Booth will begin turning the image into an interactive zombie. Touch the screen to have the zombie devour your finger. Share the zombie images on Facebook or through other media sharing means.

Grocery IQ – A free application

Grocery IQ is a useful app for anyone that wants to stay organized while grocery shopping. The program has hundreds of manufacturer coupons that may be emailed to youself or saved directly onto your rewards card. With the coupons saved to your card the only thing you have to do is swipe your card at the end of your purchase and the coupons will automatically be deducted from the final price.
