Motorola Droid X2 Takes Test Photo

The Motorola Droid X2, rumored for a Verizon release and previously shown in leaked photos has now surfaced on Picasa with a typical blurry-cam test photo.

The image clocks in at a full eight-megapixels, confirming that part of the leaked specifications. The device is rumored to come equipped with a Tegra 2 dual core 1GHz CPU, 1GB RAM, and a 4.3-inch qHD 540×960 LCD. Also rumored is an HDMI port, and FM radio. The device is expected to debut with Froyo 2.2.1.

The device is expected to come with Motorola’s custom UI, MOTOBLUR. Also expected is a locked and encrypted bootloader, in line with other recent offerings from Motorola.

While Motorola has yet to announce anything official regarding this device, we can at least confirm the Droid X2 name, geotagging ability, and eight-megapixel camera specification on this shot. Photo quality should not be considered representative as this is pre-release hardware and a test photo.
