Microsoft seems to have a thing with Mobile World Congress as all big news related to Windows Phone 7 gets announced in Barcelona. At last year‘s show, Steve Ballmer announced Windows Phone 7 at the Microsoft Keynote, a new platform, built from scratch, a game changer if you will. One year later – and approximately 4 months after the platform launch – Steve Ballmer announced great features to be added to Windows Phone 7 later this year: Copy/Paste is already upcoming; there will be Twitter integration in the People Hub, task switching and a brand new mobile version of IE9 with HTML5 support to offer a desktop-like Internet experience.

Last week we’ve talked to Casey McGee, Senior Marketing Manager for Windows Phone 7 at Microsoft and we asked various questions related to the platform, its launch, features (actual and upcoming), plans, lacks, services, personal experiences and so on. Windows Phone 7 enjoyed a successful launch with over 90% of positive feedback from users and the new strategic alliance between Nokia and Microsoft is here to improve an ecosystem which will continue to drive and add value.
