In this episode of the Windows Phone 7 App Roundup we demonstrate five applications in 30 seconds each. These apps will entertain, find a place to eat or go out, and edit all those photos saved to your WP& device. To download these apps directly to your WP7 device, just click on the title of the application and the Zune software will automatically launch to the app in Marketplace. If you have the free Microsoft Tag app installed on your WP7 device just snap a picture of the Tag image and the mobile Marketplace will navigate to that app.

This simple photo editing application makes quick work of editing the photos saved on your Windows Phone 7 device. Just load the image or take a new one, crop it, adjust red eye, add an effect, or rotate it. There are options to revert back to the original or save the newly edited photo.

I Dig It – Trial and $2.99 full version


I Dig It is a fun and challenging Xbox live puzzle game. The object of the game is to dig far into the earth to find a vast array of treasures and valuable objects. Make sure to return to the surface when your cargo hold is full and be sure not to run out of fuel.


Where – A free application


Where is a do-it-all location based search app that will find practically every restaurant, bar, and entertainment mecca in your area. Get local forecasts, check gas prices, traffic, and other local information. Where ties directly into Facebook so you can meet up with friends, share your results, and view what others are doing around you.


Pirates Ahoy – A free application


If you like pirates and you like Fruit Ninja, then you will love Pirates Ahoy. This challenging game has two levels, a classic and a drunk mode. The object of the game is to slice the sea creatures and pirate objects with a sword while avoid the flaming skulls. Miss three objects or slice on of the skulls and the game is over. The drunk mode is similar but has a progress bar that drains faster or slower depending on the accuracy of the cuts.
