Motorola Cliq 2 Hardware Tour (Video)

In this video we demonstrate the hardware of the Motorola Cliq 2 running on T-Mobile’s network. The Android 2.2 powered device is packing some pretty good hardware. The screen is a 3.7 FWVGA glass capacitive multitouch with the standard capacitive Android buttons on the bottom. The most unique feature is the hexagon shaped keys on the full QWERTY keyboard.

The device has the standard radios built-in to operate on T-Mobile’s 3G network. Unfortunately the Cliq 2 does not have the HSPA+ that many of their other Android flagship devices have. One surprising aspect is that this device has the 850MHz UMTS band. So the Cliq 2 could potentially work on T-Mobile and AT&T’s 3G networks.

The processing power comes from the 1GHz Texas Instruments chip combined with 512MB of RAM and 1GB of ROM. Stay tuned for the software tour coming up next and in case you missed it check out the unboxing.
