In this episode of the Windows Phone 7 App Roundup we demonstrate five applications in 30 seconds each. These apps will entertain, find a great movie to see, and challenge your mind. To download these apps directly to your WP7 device, just click on the title of the application and the Zune software will automatically launch to the app in Marketplace. If you have the free Microsoft Tag app installed on your WP7 device just snap a picture of the Tag image and the mobile Marketplace will navigate to that app.

Flashcards – A free application


If you have trouble remembering things then Flashcards may help you retain some of that important information. Some rather common Flashcards are included and may be edited. There are options to input your own information and even a quiz mode that keeps the corrects answer scores.


Chicks’n’Vixens – A free application


Chicks’n’Vixens is a beta Angry Birds clone. The object of the game is to fire a chick toward the vixens. Topple over wood, ice, and masonry with the strategically fired chick to defeat the vixens. Multitouch is supported and allows zooming in and out.

Flixster is a great application for all us movie buffs out there. This app is a culmination between Flixster and Rotten Tomatoes. Get movies times, theater information, DVD release dates, upcoming films, and much more. View trailers and share the movie information with friends and family.


Quadra – Lite and $1.99 full


Quadra is a unique fast passed game. The object is to defend the center circle from an onslaught of attacks. The further the game is advanced the more challenge it becomes when four fingers are being used to target the enemies.


Unite – A free application


Unite is a challenging game that anyone could play. Move the metallic balls around the playing field and have them touch. Once they have touched they will fuse together to form a larger ball. This game has portals, propellers, and other obstacles to ruin your efforts.
