Shortly after passing through the FCC, the CDMA variant of the WP7-powered HTC Trophy has now passed Bluetooth certification as well, putting the device that much closer to market.

Windows Phone 7’s first major update nicknamed “No Donuts” is pending release, which includes among other things CDMA support and copy/paste support. This update paves the way for a number of CDMA Windows Phone 7 devices, including the HTC Trophy.

The HTC Trophy is a rather run-of-the-mill Windows Phone 7 device, not featuring many of the extra features that other WP7 devices carry. However as one of the first CDMA WP7 devices, and sporting a quad-band world phone, it remains an exciting release.

Bluetooth Dial Up Networking, Personal Area Networking, and LAN Access Profile are all missing from the certification, indicating that tethering will still remain officially unsupported with this device/update.
