What Makes Skyfire 3.2 for Android so Awesome?

Skyfire is one of the more popular alternative browsers for the Android platform. It’s primary claim to fame has been its ability to play Flash videos on Android-powered devices. That’s not as much of an benefit with the latest generation of Android-powered devices, since most have the ability get Adobe’s Flash from the Android Market. Skyfire essentially converts and pre-renders video on their services, streaming it to you in a manner that’s customized for your screen and connection speed.

In version 3.2 they’ve made some improvements:

– Better Searching: so facilitate search they added a search box to the top of the toolbar UI

– Better Video Search: since videos hold a high level of importance in this browser, Skyfire has enhanced their video search experience to include data from more content providers

– Play More Video: more sites and video formats have been added

– Various performance enhancements and fine-tuning
