Following up on the BlackBerry Dakota rumors from last year referring to a touch-screen/QWERTY hybrid, today we’re treated with a picture and specs of the alleged upcoming smartphone from RIM.

While looking like your typical BlackBerry Bold, the Dakota is 10.5 mm thick and sports a 2.8-inch VGA 640 x 480 touch-screen, 768MB RAM, 4GB Internal Storage, five-megapixel camera with HD recording capability, flash as well as image stabilization, WiFi b/g/n, 3G mobile hotspot feature, Bluetooth, NFC (Near Field Communication), accelerometer, proximity sensor, digital compass as well as a microUSB port.

It is rumored to launch with RIM’s BlackBerry OS 6.1 — even though a timeframe has not yet been leaked — and will combine the best of both worlds, touch and keyboard. So tell us, what do you think?
