Nexus S Gets New Android Market Silently Pushed

The “new” Android Market is being approximately one month late to Samsung’s Google Nexus S but nevertheless it’s finally here and it is silently pushed to devices.

In our demo of the Android Market update we presented the Nexus S-inspired curved theme as well as walked you through some of the main features like the improved user interface, easier access to games as well as categories for live wallpapers and widgets. Up until now, the refresh was not available for the Nexus S (there were various speculations related to a Gingerbread-only market or even Gingerbread compatibility problems) but it’s being silently pushed now; this means that one time you’ll start the Market application, it will take a tad longer but you’ll be presented with the all new application.
