Motorola Droid Bionic Hands On (Video)

The Motorola Droid Bionic is similar in a lot of ways to the Atrix 4G except that it has less RAM (512MB versus 1GB) and it is going to Verizon and not AT&T. Because it lacks the full 1GB of RAM, you can’t use that fancy dock that works with the Atrix. The Bionic is sporting the Tegra 2 dual core CPU, which should make the device feel really fast, but it surprisingly doesn’t make any noticeable improvement as you can see in this video. We’re thinking that the software on the Bionic might be a bit Alpha, and that when this thing ships, it ought to be a bit faster. Or, perhaps we’d have to test the Bionic with high FPS games to really see the performance gain of the dual cores. Beyond that it’s sporting 4G LTE and a qHD display which provides 960×540 resolution.
