AT&T: 4G iPhone Coming Next Year
AT&T will offer a 4G-capable iPhone in 2012, implied AT&T Mobility CEO Ralph de la Vega at CES today, according to a report from BGR. However, since he simply listed Apple among upcoming 4G device platforms (according to Engadget) it’s not at all clear if de la Vega was referring to a true 4G iPhone, i.e. one with an LTE modem, or a “4G” iPhone, running on HSPA+ as T-Mobile’s self-proclaimed 4G network does. Either way, faster iPhone equals better iPhone, so color us excited.
