HTC EVO Shift 4G Hitting FCC With CDMA and WiMAX? (Update)

We posted about HTC filing for trademark on “HTC EVO Shift 4G” denomination (after a similar trademark filing for “HTC EVO 4G Shift”) and we also asked questions whether the HTC Speedy/Knight is the new EVO Shift 4G or not.

Looks like an HTC device supporting CDMA and WiMAX just hit FCC with model number PG06100 and judging by the technologies supported it could be heading for Sprint, in which case it might as well be the HTC EVO Shift 4G. All this is supposition based on previous rumors so feel free to let us know of your thoughts in the comments below.

A bit of rumored specs for the update as BGR reports of a tip they’ve got about the HTC Knight’s specs according to which the Knight will sport either a 3.7 or 3.8-inch screen and will have a slide-out QWERTY keyboard besides an 8-megapixel camera and it is likely to be launched as a dual core processor powered 4G device. Still no positive word yet on whether the Knight/Speedy is the EVO Shift 4G or not.
