Nokia Releases Ovi Suite 3.0 Final

Nokia is rounding out 2010 with the release of version 3.0 of its Ovi Suite, a PC application for managing the content on your Nokia smartphone.

Ovi Suite 3.0 went into beta at the beginning of December, featuring a newly-designed home screen containing both content from your phone as well as Nokia’s recommendations for apps and music you might also be interested in. Just like you would with iTunes, you can use the Ovi Suite to browse music, purchase track you like, and transfer them right over to your phone.

If you’re going on a trip and aren’t sure if you’ll get reception while out on the road, you can use Ovi Suite to download Nokia’s free maps and transfer them over to your phone, in advance. The Suite lets you manage which map packages you want to keep stored on your phone, as well as letting you transfer voice guidance files, so you can keep your eyes on the road.

Less visible tweaks include better sync stability, improved language support, and a streamlined installation system. You can download Ovi Suite 3.0 free from Nokia’s site.
