PlayStation App for iPhone and Android Might Stream Multimedia

You might recall that Sony had announced an app for Android and iPhone that would allow PlayStation users to access the PlayStation Network and socialize with friends, check achievements, and other functions that remind us very much of the Xbox Live Hub on Windows Phone 7. The app was due out around Christmas, and with that holiday now come and gone, we expect that it will be released any day. New information about the PlayStation app reveals that it might also stream video and audio from online services, perhaps working in conjunction with PlayStation consoles.
